B.L.A.S.T. (Believing Loving And Serving Together) will lift off on Wednesday, September 21 with dinner at 5:45 for adults and young children. Classes at 6:15 and home at 7:30. Donna Welch is teaching from Mitch Albom's "The Five People You Will Meet in Heaven." Esther Strong and Charlotte O’Dowd are leading the children in a exploration of prayer. For more information contact Don Beal at 651-0559. Beginning on November 2 there will be a six-week course entitled “Unraveling A Mystery-A Biblical Perspective on Heaven.” Don Beal will be the teacher. Students will need a Bible for the class. The adult class meets in the Music center. Esther Strong and Charolotte O’Dowd will continue with a class for elementary age children in the library room off the hall. The study is focused on the Lord’s Prayer. About 20 people have been taking advantage of this educational setting on Wednesday evenings. A special thank you to Patty Bergum, Charlotte Ruesch, Betty Otis and Betty Miller for handling the meal planning and cleaning up.

Believing Loving And Serving Together Dinner at BLAST will be at 5:45 pm on Wednesday, December 7 classes begin at 6:30. The last BLAST will be on Wednesday, December 14.

The schedule for TGIF for November and December: November 20– Help set up for pot luck at Grace November 27– Recover from Thanksgiving weekend, no gathering December 4– Games and lesson, practice singing December 11– Games and lesson, practice singing December 18– City Brew, caroling with MAD kids and anyone else who wants to join us in the neighborhood December 25– Merry Christmas November gatherings are at Grace United Methodist, 1935 Avenue B. December gatherings are at Central Christian.
